Still a Wonderful World

With apologies to Bob Thiele and Louis Armstrong

I saw trees of green

Red roses too

So many more,

Than you'll ever do,

And I think to myself

What have we done to the world?

I saw skies of blue

And clouds of white

Forests now burn

And light up the night

And I think to myself

What have we done to the world?

The colors of the rainbow

Flags fly high in the sky

But the colors of our faces

Are what defines our lives

I wish we're judged

Based on what we do

Not just for saying

I love you

I hear babies cry

I watch them grow

They'll do much more

Than we'll ever know

And I think to myself

Can they still save the world?

Yes, I think to myself

They can still save the world

Ooh, yes
